Three Double Four Two

In this work Lakmaier sits on an old primary school chair, wearing a floor length black dress, a balaclava and a decommissioned British riot helmet. For the duration of the performance the artist inflates red balloons until they burst with a startlingly loud bang. As the work progresses the detritus of the burst balloons accumulates in the space.

This durational performance was initially shown at Junction Cambridge during the 'Question Everything' symposium, it then toured to the Attenborough Arts Centre, Leicester and IntegrArt Festival, Zurich.
