untitled (tea pot)

The curators of 'Normalife unlimited' sent out a random second hand object to all artists participating in the show to alter or appropriate. In this case a teapot. The inner walls of the teapot were tiled and the floor covered in black lino. A light bulb fitted and wired through the spout illuminating the object from the inside. The floral pattern on the outside was outlined in black and colored in in bright primary colors, changing it into a cartoony, coloring-in-book-style drawing.
